Filip Jacobson captures on film how Breno Caetano and Sergi Parés interweave bodies and ropes in their work. Their choreographies are an expression of many years of experience as dancers and acrobats and at the same time a curious practice of exploring physical limits and possibilities. With fine ropes they connect their bodies and search sometimes playfully, sometimes with insistent seriousness for a physical manifesto of trust. Moments of conflict and simultaneous care reveal overarching questions of community and interpersonal communication. During the documentary the filmmaker visits their flats in Brussels, where they talk about the intensive preparatory work, including during their joint trip to Brazil. Both draw on rich experiences of many years of collaboration with a variety of the most established companies and big names of the international dance and circus scene. Their duo "Cornerstone" is an intimate encounter that was accompanied as part of the CircusDanceFestival co-production program.
