Meet the artists Jörg Müller & Cendrine Gallezot, Moderated by Tim Behren | CircusDanceFestival 2022

“Noustube” is a visual invitation to an unusual world. An impressive object is placed in the center: a water-filled glass cylinder that is ready to get immersed in. The German circus artist Jörg Müller creates a peculiar exhibition space in which the body has to share control over its movements with the water. The setting of "Noustube", which resembles weightlessness, gives the performers Cendrine Gallezot and Jörg Müller carte blanche to create a subaquatic solo in and around this object. In the element of water, the performers juggle with themselves, more precisely: with their bodies. In the water, they weigh something between not much and nothing at all– and sometimes even less than nothing.
