La TRIBU Performance is one of the leading contemporary circus companies from Panama in Latin America. „MATMO“ connects materialism and monsters. Floating in the air above a round stage, the solo performer moves in a delicate balance within a seemingly chaotic arrangement of huge metal tubes.
The second piece of the evening, „L O N E“, is a circus solo with a catapult that goes high into the air and describes the fine line between being alone and loneliness. Circus artist Luuk Brantjes from the Netherlands creates a homage to the experience of solitude, aimed at the inventive self, the self that feels comfortable being alone.
