Adrien M & Claire B with „Vanishing Act“
Computer scientist and juggler Adrien Mondot and sculptor Claire Bardainne blur the boundaries between the real and digital worlds in their works. With the help of projections, virtual reality and other immersive techniques, the two question the relationship between humans and time and space. A decidedly poetic short film between intimacy and monumentality.

About Julian Vogel
By Filip Jacobson (GER/PL)
“About Julian Vogel” is a documentary portrait by Filip Jacobson about a Swiss artist who is constantly transforming and developing his work. The film gives insight into the ceramic works behind the scenes that make his recent work “China Series” possible. Julian Vogel’s objects are not just exhibits; they invite viewers to interact. The documentary accompanies Julian Vogel to Holland and France, where he is preparing one of his performative exhibitions. It is precisely these preparations that make his work tangible, as Julian Vogel infects his surrounding with passion, engagement and an almost philosophical approach to circus art. He is a perfectionist who gives space to the unknown and surprise. And he travels a lot – a nomad who devotes himself entirely to his artistic visions.
The Swiss curator and circus historian Mirjam Hildbrand has a public talk with Julian Vogel after the film.
