On the ground, in the air, explosive and contemplative with an audience seated all around: There is room for experiments and the handwriting by young artists in the intersection of circus and dance. The 360° shorts take place on the circular stage with an aerial truss, specially designed for the festival.
The evening is opened by aerial artists of Less Kuerdas, an energetic all-female collective dedicated to the power of community. They will show a work-in-progress from their piece in development: "Drift". The storytelling dance continues with Yotam Peled moving discovery of unconscious, trauma and fantasy based on the biblical story of Jonah. The excerpt from his solo "migrena2X2" oscillates between prayer, ritual, and rave. Things get humorous with "iT SOCKS!" a clownesque solo by the acrobat Mikail Karahan, that sets in motion not only himself and a Cyr-Wheel, but also splendid red socks.
