"PLI" is simple, humble, and honest. 22 conference chairs and a devotedly tap-dancing man combine to an obsessive rhythm into ever new arrangements on stage. The determination with which artist Viktor Černický as carefully as persistently constructs, reconstructs, and deconstructs this minimalist universe is infectious. He playfully develops an intelligent solo that unfolds like a physical metaphor for the never-ending human dynamic of patiently searching for new possibilities: Even the most ordinary objects can be transformed into amazing architectures in this process. Inspired by the philosophy of the polymath Leibniz, who wanted to break down the complexity of the world to the simplest possible but true principles, Černický humorously stages the tireless human work in and on the material of the world.
