The Compagnie Barks from France stands for whimsical inventions that defy gravity acrobatically and poetically. With “The Pantographe”, Bastien Dausse has developed a prosthetic, futuristic sculpture that stretches up into the air. With a reach of up to six meters, it moves three-dimensionally and majestically over the heads of the audience. A journey of movement inspired by sculpture, acrobatics and science begins. The dance between sculpture and man makes us dream with a previously unknown sense of balance. A sensation which can be deepened by other Installation performances from the weightless series "Moon - A Cabinet of Lunar wonders" on the festival grounds.
Bastien Dausse can also be seen in the Arte pre-film at the film evening "Mr. Skeleton meets Martin Zimmermann".
