The unexpected or incomprehensible makes us smile. In these performances and films, however, it is not people who take the lead, but objects, animals and sometimes even the symbol of death itself. An absurd slant? Sofas as an invited audience and pond ducks as performers: All perspectives are turned upside down and at the end at least our dear Mr. Skeleton is still laughing. The artists get right up close to the idea of man as the ultimate center of the universe. This circus does not leave a dry eye!
