Contemporary circus for children? Is that possible? Of course! The CircusDanceFestival and LATIBUL invite the whole family to the festival meadow on Sunday. From 11 a.m., there will be numerous family-friendly productions for children and adults in the tents and open air. Enjoy the day together with a relaxed picnic on the festival site and watch the circus on-goings under the trees. There will also be a variety of hands-on activities, workshops, dialogue and meeting stations. Here you can try things out and get talking or moving with circus artists and other circus enthusiasts. CircusGarden closes its doors in the early evening with a big joint performance: this is contemporary circus for young and old.

Craftsmanship meets the art of contemporary circus: in "Sawdust Symphony", three trained jugglers mix their passion for tools, fresh wood, and object manipulation. The piece tells of the human desire to keep busy. From intoxicating visioning to the completion of the artwork, it spans the tragic-comic relationship between machine, human, and labour. The smell of sawdust and petrol fills the room as three obsessed individuals walk a tightrope between satisfaction and frustration, creating a DIY experience of a different kind.

Fliegwerk presents modern street circus. On the stage beneath the seven-metre-high tripod, the artists combine aerial acrobatics with theatrical, comic and dance elements to create touching and lively images.
At the Laitbul Circus Garden, they show excerpts from the show DIE DA - a journey towards the manifestation of a powerful, self-confident and above all individual image of women.

Take it apart? What new things can emerge from it? In “cradle”, artist Sina Lynn asks herself these questions and embarks on a search for balance.

This is the story of Mr. & Mrs. Twistly, who are on their way to their long-awaited vacation.
But once again everything turns out differently than planned... The two characters tell their story with elements of partner acrobatics on the floor and on the Chinese pole. The charming world of the 1920s forms the backdrop.
Kira and Anders are circus artists who specialize in Chinese pole, partner acrobatics and aerial acrobatics. They have been working together since 2012 and are a couple both professionally and privately.

In the Front Yard Session, we offer some young people the chance to perform on stage! Some of them are already experienced stage professionals who have been training with us at LATIBUL for years, but there are also a few newcomers to the scene, including on the aerial frame on the festival meadow. There will also be a small interactive program to guide you through the acts and to the various stage locations.

Now Departing is an open-air acrobatic circus show that tells eclectic short stories from the wagon of a train. In a specially designed acrobatic train compartment, the artists perform hilarious scenes, incredible physical feats and breathtaking tricks, while each stop on the platform becomes a new reality.

Whether it's ultra-fixed blow-by-blow scenes or an epic story with deep valleys and even higher peaks. At selbstauslöser there's a lot of laughing, crying, singing and . Accompanied by the music of multi-instrumentalist Erik A. Werner, the four players Katharina Oden, Carina Geitmann, Dennis Rubel and Annika Bullmahn transform every performance into a small world premiere. “Is that a deal or are you like a one-brain?”
