With the light installation LINKAGE, the Cologne light duo Stulle & Peter explore the relationship between artwork and viewer. LINKAGE shows that artworks not only need people, who look at them, because otherwise they only exist in theory, but above all only begin to breathe through the multitude of perspectives.
But what does this mean for the installed artwork? By means of sensor, every person who enters the festival grounds recreates the artwork. Stulle & Peter show us their own horizon of experience and its influence on the art and allow their theories to become three-dimensional in space. "Linkage" exponentiates itself and with each and for each new perspective a unique and individual experience.
