DOWN’ is a crazy, generous, and unquenchable dance – a collective groove through the depths of inner and outer abysses. The duet is a brightly coloured visual statement for the explosive power of dance. The trip through states of being and ways out of the collective ‘down’ comes over us like a rush. Dancer Mélissa Guex and drummer Clément Grin create a sense of instability in the midst of the audience, in which bodies loosen up and minds detach. Descending and ascending energetic rhythms speed up and slow down our perception before we emerge together again.
