The French XY Collectif is a world-renowned group of acrobats from a wide range of countries and continents. At the CircusDanceFestival, XY is present with a photo exhibition, workshops and a performance of Möbius, presented by Tanz Köln. The film dives deep into the rehearsal process for the piece Möbius and quite literally accompanies Cie XY on their turbulent high-flying journeys. The documentary by german filmmaker Ilka Franzman was filmed in Barcelona after a four-month lockdown break, shortly before the world premiere. It offers insights into an artistic, highly creative and exciting world of charismatic people who push themselves to their limits.
