Ping-pong, back and forth: what games do we play when we first meet in the city? In the play ‘ENTRE DEUX’, the audience follows two heroes in an acrobatic dance as they explore their possibilities. They embrace opportunities, test their limits and balance their desires.
To do so, they transform a familiar and ubiquitous object in public space: the table tennis table. It becomes a spontaneous stage for their show at the intersection of parkour, the art of unusual movement, and acrobatic partnering. The up-and-coming Potsdam-based company 101concrete questions the usual use of urban furniture as part of city pop-up performances in various districts of Cologne. The central question is: what connects us?
