City Pop-up
This themed trail takes us right into the heart of the city. Site-specific performances open up new perspectives on architecture and public spaces. With the City Pop-Up performances, the UNANiM collective and the 101concrete company perform in various neighborhoods – on both sides of the Rhine. With 101concrete, we visit four table tennis tables in different parts of the city, with ‘Lower Level’ we even go underground, and the walk takes us to places in Cologne where permanent circus buildings once shaped the city. This is how the circus comes to the city in a new way: decentralized, under the open sky and in unusual places. It's an invitation to rediscover Cologne through the lens of the history and present of circus and dance.
