  • Duration: 90 Min.
  • Location: Festival site
  • Notice: In English
  • Tickets: Free entrence

Scholarship recipient Tana Onochie provides insights into her project “White Noise”—a reflection on personal experiences with racism and stories from her community. Between comfort and discomfort, the aim is to feel the weight of the invisible and question privileges.

Afterwards, the initiative feminist circus (ifc) will present its scholarship and this year's scholarship recipient. After a report on new strategies for the selection process, there will be an exchange of experiences on how exactly structural disadvantages can be counteracted with funding. The ifc-scholarship is supported by CircusMühle Kelbra and CircusDanceFestival and is aimed at circus artists who face structural discrimination in everyday life and in the funding landscape.
