“In Difference” is a finely tuned acrobatic duo on the Cyr Wheel. Marica and Jef are different—in posture, tempo, temperament. Hesitation meets clarity; mediation meets confrontation. Too different to simply blend in. Too connected to ignore each other. What does it mean to be a couple without melting into one another? Is coexistence possible without compromise or hierarchy?
At the center of these negotiations: a metal wheel – both a boundary and a meeting point. As they spin, fall and get back up, their bodies search for a common language. It's an intense physical dialogue in which difference does not separate but becomes a creative engine. Jef Everaert and Marica Marinoni leave old forms behind and propel the Cyr Wheel beyond the familiar.
