VOICES magazine picks up on the festival's motto, “Come Closer”, and shifts its focus this year: away from the stage and toward the audience. It's about those who attend contemporary circus events, but also those who don't. In VOICES Talk, the various contributors to the festival magazine engage in a live discussion on this topic. What makes audience relations successful? Circus artists, program managers, urban designers and the audience get to the bottom of this question and shed light on various strategies, issues of responsibility and progressive possibilities for new performance formats.
