In this workshop, we open up an experimental space. Based on mindfulness and mutual consent, we explore how much structure we need to move in the here and now – to be moved – to move others. As a feminist circus initiative, we question power relations, body images and attributions. Who takes up space? Who initiates closeness? How can closeness arise without reproducing power, but rather changing it? Together, we move towards possible answers – in exciting and tender moments between you and us.
No previous experience necessary. Participation is also possible with limited mobility (please contact us if you are unsure, have questions or would like to clarify anything in advance: info@feministischercircus.org)
Please bring or wear comfortable clothing (without zippers/buttons, etc.); we will move barefoot or, if available, with slippers/non-slip socks.
